Version 1.1 · Effective June 1, 2026
Privacy Policy
Felt is operated by Eternix LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. This policy explains what we collect through the Felt iOS app and the website at playfelt.com, what we don't, and how to take your data with you.
What we collect
- Your email address, via Sign in with Apple, when you create an account.
- The game data you create in the app: players, ledgers, tournament results, blind structures, presets, league standings.
- Anonymous crash reports and performance diagnostics (via Apple) to keep the app stable.
What we don't collect
- We don't process or store payment data from any third-party payment rail: Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Monzo, Interac e-Transfer, PayID, PayPay, or LINE Pay. Felt deeplinks to those apps (or messages your debtor a prefilled instruction for rails that don't expose a sender-side deeplink); the actual transfer happens entirely inside them.
- We don't use third-party advertising trackers, and the Felt app contains no analytics SDKs. The website uses cookieless analytics for visitor counts, described under “This website” below.
- We don't sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.
- We don't make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.
Where your data is stored
Your account and game data live in our managed, access-controlled cloud database, encrypted in transit and at rest, behind row-level security tied to your Apple ID. Subscriptions are processed by Apple; we receive only the entitlement status (Pro / not Pro), not your payment method.
Cross-border transfer. Our servers and our subprocessors' servers are located in the United States. If you use Felt from the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, or Japan, your personal information is transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws differ from those in your home country. We rely on appropriate safeguards (including contractual measures with our subprocessors) to protect that information in transit and at rest.
How long we keep your data
We retain your personal information and game data for as long as your account remains active. You can delete your account, and everything associated with it, at any time, from the app or by emailing us (see below). Once we receive a deletion request, your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and all associated game data from the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and processed within 30 days. You can also email support@playfelt.com and we'll handle it for you.
Children
Felt is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we'll remove it.
Your regional rights
Depending on where you live, you may have statutory rights to access, correct, port (receive in a structured, commonly used format), delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. We don't sell your personal information and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@playfelt.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
- United States: California (CCPA/CPRA) and other state laws. You have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal information. You also have the right to appeal a decision we make on your request. Reply to our response and we'll re-review.
- United Kingdom (UK GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018). You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to processing.
- Australia (Privacy Act 1988 & Australian Privacy Principles). You have rights of access and correction. You may transact with us anonymously or by pseudonym where it's lawful and practical to do so.
- Canada (PIPEDA). You have rights of access and correction. For Quebec residents, Law 25 additionally grants rights to portability, to know about cross-border transfers, and to withdraw consent.
- Japan (Act on the Protection of Personal Information / APPI). You have rights of disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, cessation of use, and cessation of provision to third parties. You may also request the method of disclosure (electronic or otherwise).

This website
playfelt.com sets no cookies at all, and uses no advertising or behavioral tracking. If you choose a language with the switcher in the header, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it any time in your browser settings. Standard server-side request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) are retained briefly for security and abuse prevention.
To see which pages people find useful, the site uses a privacy-first analytics service. It is cookieless by design: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, does not fingerprint your browser, and creates no identifier that could follow you between visits or across other sites. It records aggregate page views, referrer, country, and broad device type. None of it identifies you, and there is nothing to opt out of because nothing about you is stored.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top and notify Pro subscribers by email.
