Why Felt

Everything a host needs. Nothing in the way.

Cash + Tournament

Most poker apps are one or the other. Felt handles both: open tables for cash, structured blinds for tourneys.

Blind timer that scales

Show the clock on any TV via AirPlay or HDMI. Voice announcements. Custom structures.

Settle up in one tap

Players settle each other with the fewest transfers, or you hold the pot as the bank and pay out each cash-out. Either way, one tap opens Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Monzo, Interac, or PayID with the amount prefilled.

League standings

Run a season across Friday nights. Track points, crown a Player of the Year, share standings.

ICM + Top-N math

Tournament cuts that match the chip leaders. Custom prize splits. Bounty pools.

Multi-device sync

Apple Sign-In. Your games follow you from iPhone to iPad.

More inside

A scorekeeper that does the math.

Past the clock and the settlement, Felt handles the tournament-director stuff hosts usually do by hand: structures, payouts, bounties, and a second screen.

Felt: game ledger with buy-ins, rebuys, and cashouts

The ledger

Every chip in and out, tallied as you play.

Felt: adjust the running blind level mid-tournament

Mid-game blind edits

Stretch the level. Rewrite upcoming blinds.

Felt: ICM and bounty payouts

ICM + bounties

Tournament cuts that match the chip leaders.

Felt: show the blind clock on a TV via AirPlay or HDMI

Clock on the TV

AirPlay or HDMI, no Apple TV required. Pro.

Felt: host the game from iPhone and iPad in sync

Multi-device

iPhone and iPad stay in lockstep via Sign in with Apple.

On the big screen

From a kitchen-table iPad to a charity-hall TV.

Felt runs on iPhone and iPad. On iPad you get a sidebar, wider rosters, and one-tap AirPlay so the blind clock fills any TV in the room: the same chrome a charity tournament director uses, the same chrome that fits a Friday-night kitchen table.

AirPlay or HDMI (Pro)

Cast the clock

AirPlay or HDMI the big blind clock to any TV. The host's iPad keeps the controls; the room sees the timer.

Sidebar nav

Games, Players and Settings live in a sidebar on iPad so the host can jump without losing the live game context.

Roster grid

The wider canvas lays out players as a card grid instead of a stacked list, so 90-player, 10-table nights stay one glance away.

Built for the host

Felt is a scorekeeper, not a payments app. It tracks who owes who and hands off to your own payment apps when you settle. We never touch the money.

No commission on transfers

Settlement happens in your payment apps. Felt never touches a cent.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Does Felt handle cash games too?

Yes, both. Open cash tables with buy-ins, rebuys and cash-outs, or run structured tournaments with a blind timer and payouts. The ledger and one-tap settle-up work the same either way.

Is Felt a gambling app?

No. Felt is a scorekeeper: it records what players choose to record and never hosts, brokers, accepts, or processes any wager or payment. Whether and how you play for money is your decision and must follow the law where you play.

Does Felt process payments?

No. Felt tracks who owes who. When you settle up, it opens your payment app (Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Monzo, Interac, or PayID) with the amount prefilled and you authorise the transfer inside that app.

Is Felt like Splitwise for poker?

That is a fair way to picture it. Splitwise ends the who-owes-who for shared expenses; Felt does the same for poker night. It works out who pays whom from the buy-ins and cash-outs, keeps the transfers to a minimum, and opens your payment app with the amount prefilled. The difference is that Felt also runs the game itself: the blind timer, rebuys, and tournament payouts. So the settle-up is already done the moment the last hand ends, not typed in afterward. See our full Felt vs Splitwise comparison for a feature-by-feature side by side.

Can the host hold the pot instead of players paying each other?

Yes. That is what Felt calls host settlement, a Pro feature. In the default mode players settle each other directly, which suits a table of friends. Switch to “Host is the bank” and you hold the pot instead: at the end Felt tells you what to pay each player for their cash-out, and you mark each payout as you hand it over. That is the mode charity nights, bar leagues, and any table where the players are not all friends tend to want, because nobody has to send money to a stranger.

Does it work on iPad? Can I put the clock on a TV?

Felt runs on iPhone and iPad, and your games sync across them via Sign in with Apple. On iPad you can AirPlay (or HDMI) the big blind clock to a TV (a Pro feature).

Does Felt need an internet connection?

Yes. Felt keeps your games in your account, so you need a connection while you host. Have Wi-Fi or data at the table.

Can I export my games?

Any tier can share a plain-text recap when you settle up. Pro adds a CSV / PDF export of the night's ledger and results.

What does the free tier include?

One active game at a time with up to 9 players, full blind timer, and one saved preset. Enough to host a real poker night. (Spoken blind-level announcements are a Pro feature.)

How much is Felt Pro?

Felt Pro is $69.99/year or $6.99/month (pricing for United States), with a 7-day free trial. Everything you need to host is free forever. Pro adds the depth: 2 live tournaments at once plus cash tables (vs. 1 game on Free), up to 10 open games at a time, up to 90 players (10 tables) per game, ICM / Top-N / bounty payouts, up to 10 custom blind structures, an optional house fee for snacks & drinks, spoken blind announcements, up to 10 leagues, AirPlay or HDMI big-clock, settlement deeplinks, up to 10 saved presets, and CSV / PDF export.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Manage your subscription in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Your Pro access stays through the end of the period you've paid for.

What currencies are supported?

At launch: US dollar, Canadian dollar, British pound, Australian dollar, Japanese yen. Euro and Brazilian real are planned for a later release.

Will Felt come to Android?

Not at launch. iOS first; we'll evaluate Android once we see what hosts actually need.

What payment apps does Felt deeplink to?

PayPal (universal), Venmo (US), Cash App (US + UK), Monzo (UK), Interac e-Transfer (Canada), PayID (Australia), PayPay and LINE Pay (Japan). Each player's handles are filtered by your country, and PayPal accepts a PayPal.Me username, email, or mobile.

Is my game data shared with anyone?

No. Your players, ledgers, and standings live in your private account in our secure database. Felt doesn't sell or share your data. See the Privacy page for details.
