Honest comparison
Felt vs Blinds Up
Blinds Up is an iOS poker timer focused on tournaments. Felt is also iOS native, but covers cash games as well: a who-owes-who ledger and one-tap settlement to payment apps. If your home night is half cash and half tournament, the breadth matters.

When Blinds Up fits better
- You only run tournaments, never cash games, and a focused tournament timer is all you need.
- You want to arrange the board yourself — Blinds Up lets you drag and resize the elements on the game screen, and drop in photos of your own chips. Felt gives you themes, not a layout editor.
- You hand out printed seating charts. Blinds Up prints table lists; Felt has no printing at all.
- You want per-player history like ITM rate across a season, beyond points and best finish.
When Felt fits better
- Your home night alternates between cash and tournament: Felt’s ledger and settlement work both ways.
- You want a one-tap deep link to settle up via Venmo / PayPal / Cash App / Monzo / Interac / PayID at the end of the night.
- You run a recurring league or charity series and want season standings tied to results.
- You host on phone + iPad and want them in lockstep without re-signing in.
Both apps live on the same App Store and share the basic timer DNA. Pick based on what you actually do at the table: Blinds Up if it’s tournament-only timing, Felt if it’s the whole night, cash and tournament together.
